  • Some new entries in the HW Fast & Furious series

aka "Furious Off-Road" (with a Tomica found at the same store...)

The bottom one is a flat black Land Rover Defender 110 Hardtop....didn't realize I overcropped the bottom of the pic. The other two vehicles in the series are cars...I prefer the trucks.

I didn't know if these were released in other series...but the Hummer has a copyright of 2017 on it. Is that maybe just the mainline patent date for the non-RealRiders (considerably-) less expensive mainlines?

I'm no HW collector (what I buy from HW is simply stuff I like...and there's a lot to like there), but I don't think the G-class and Defender are re-issued castings in a "premium" package...are they brand new this year?

The three Hot Wheels are ones that I am really hoping to find. While the cars themselves may not have played a huge role in the movies, they look to be incredibly well-done. And I can't say no to a Hummer, Land Rover and G-Class!

If you'd like to check out a street racing series that actually focuses on street racing, Initial D or Wangan Midnight might be up your alley, as long as you can put up with reading subtitles while watching cartoons.

          Just gonna leave this here:

Will be honest, it is the Tomica police car that got my attention. Have found one Wal Mart that has the second release but this one was not on the pegs.

Yeah, there was only one and I consider myself extremely lucky to have been in that store at that moment...not my neighborhood WM, but only a couple miles further away.

Nice photos of the F&F Defender. I saw it on the pegs yesterday. It is nice and heavy. Very well done, but for five and a half bucks I left it there for someone who likes trucks more than I do.

Same here . . . it was tempting, but I like Majorette's Defender 110 casting infinitely better. As well, with the amount of 1/64 product available these days, it's become a matter of being very selective for budget and space considerations..
