That's a great looking set, all those old Lesney cars in a big set , wish they would have offered those Bulgarian models and sets in stores here in the US too, they kept those great old models going for a long time in all the various colors.

I bought this set directly from the factory. The same with the "Bavaria" police Mercedes. I haven't seen this set anywhere for sale. Maybe it wasn't distributed at all. I only know that there was a limited number of these made utilizing some packaging left from before. The factory management has a short list of email addresses (mine is there too) and if there is something new, I get an email with a pic and replying back I place my order. They send it with a carrier to a given address - in my case in Bulgaria.
The set was released many years ago, I found about while I was living in US more than 10 years ago. I suspect it was first released sometime between 2004 and 2008. As I have missed it first, I had to buy it online from a fellow collector from MCCH who had to different variations of the front cover. One was violet/yellow and the other one was violet/yellow as I remember.
I was also in Bulgaria the last month for a short time and managed to visit the factory and get personally the two new white-green Mercedes police cars.
