I like this casting from Matchbox. I especially like the different colors๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ My hope is that they will add more color variations to this model for example, All White, All Black, Black over Red, Yellow, Green, and even Blue would be really cool looking๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Love the model too. And the newest color is outstanding (never mind the traditionalists and their disdain for "dayglo" or "lime" apparatus). Curious, though, as to what the Matchbox Team was 'going for' with the livery.

There's an Arroyo County in Puerto Rico (the Territory, the Island), but not anywhere else I can find on Google. So, do you suppose this is inspired by that? Perhaps a tribute to the hurricane Maria catastrophe victims? There's also the "PCFB" question: how does "Arroyo County Fire Brigade" relate to whatever "PCFB" stands for*? And note the upper rear "PCFB" is followed by "Port Authority". Can't find any coastal city with the initials "PC" on the island atlas. So many questions, so much time to come up with more....

    * I wonder if "PCFB" was a factory tampo error....someone saw the "A" in Arroyo but typed it as a "P", maybe? (Arroyo County, as one might expect on an island, does have oceanfront land, so a Port Authority isn't completely unbelievable.)

You bring up some good questions Blair about the day-glo yellow model. I would hope we would see other color variations on this one and maybe even some actual departments down the road.

I was guessing totally different on the model. I was thinking โ€œArrow Countyโ€ was the department and โ€œPCFBโ€ was the Port Authority initials for an Airport. I know of several Airports (both large and smaller) where the Governing body contracts with the local department for fire protection often resulting in both agencies markings on the rigs.

Would snarf this one in a heartbeat. Especially fond of the red one. Two thumbs up.

It's questions like these that make we wish we still had a MB Ambassador Blair. They were always a good source to get info funneled through with their question and answer series with MB design team members. Maybe we should compile a "list" of questions like this and take them to ABQ?

Anyway, I think they executed this casting quite nicely and I like this model a lot

Yeah, I kinda forgot that "ports" apply to more than the seaside. Heliports, airports, sports reports....ooops....
