Welcome to the Garage Christian, I'm sure you'll find many interesting things here. I like to collect different brands too, but most of what I have is Matchbox.

    Hi, its me...

    Hi all,

    Finally joined this board...
Triple C stands for "Christian Collects Cars", So you may guess my first name... I am from The Netherlands. As far as I know I have always collected 3inch miniature cars. As kid I played together with my brother with Matchbox en Majorette cars. I didn't like Siku, that was also available in the shops. These Siku models were to big next to my Majorette and Matchbox. When I stopped playing with the cars I didn't stop buying them, But in the beginning I was only interested in Matchbox cars. At a certain time I had a lot of (color)variations of the same Matchbox casting, while also many other manufacturers offered nice 3 inch models. So I started to collect also some Hotwheels, Corgi, Norev, Playart, etc, etc. Last few years my interest is more wide then ever before. I like brand new castings from Hotwheels, but also from MiniGT, Tomica Vintage, Schuco. But I like old obscure brands even more. Even plastic models. Brands like Soma, WingsOverTheWorld, TimmyToys, PlayMe, PlayWell, Manurba, etc, etc.
It is the search for new brands en more information on the obscure models that makes collecting these toys more interesting.
So I hope we can learn from each other!!
    Triple C / Christian
