  • Cinnamon Poly 1974 Buick Estate Wagon

I've been trying to collect as many versions as possible of the AW roundback, and found this '74 in a stunning disco-era color scheme at Walmart in Cottage Grove, Oregon. This is one of my favorite releases so far by AW.

I found that one also today at one of my WM's. Only one I've found on the pegs of this casting. LOVE the color!

I love it too, and have also been trying to buy each example. I like the front end of the 1974 model best, and the "ranch green" initial release is perfect! My parents had a '73 Custom Cruiser, so this model is very welcome, and my Great Aunt and Uncle had a '73 Buick Electra in the same color green, so it is a melding of both great car memories!

Yes, you need to save being dead for the one color scheme Matchbox 1963 Cadillac Hearse!

Or if you prefer true 1/64 and can live with the post-1965 commercial glass on a '63 body, there's the Hot Wheels 100% '63 Miller-Meteor

YES, good catch! That oversight annoyed me. An otherwise perfect casting!

I've snagged as many of the roundbacks as I seen in box stores and from a few I've ordered from hobby dealers. There's a few imperfections in the casting. Still the best full size '71-'76 full size GM in true 1/64.
