This model has an interesting history. As I understand the story, this was modelled after Swifty's real car, which he affectionately called the Swifferstang. One of the JL people, I want to say Mac Ragan but I may be mistaken, got together with Sean at a show and agreed to do his then new car. Sean's car did have the rocker stripes on it in real life, but when it came time to do the production run, for reasons not known Ford did not allow the use of the rocker stripes...and so the production release does not have them. When Tom Z offered this for sale, I knew the car immediately and bid for it aggressively with stiff competition, and did win as you see here. After these images were taken, I sent this model to Sean as a gift, knowing it was modelled on his car.

The image file limits have been reset. We have over-limit warnings for the past 3 months and I've had to lower the image file limits. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I know I've mentioned many times before, but it is very important to downsize images - doesn't matter if they are hosted elsewhere or here. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The new limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)
Thank you for your understanding.Tags: None

I have had the great fortune of acquiring another with an approval sheet, so at least two were made initially for review
