  • Trouble?

Anybody having a hard time getting to Swifty's Garage (the old place)?

I was busily copy/pasting text from Bert's threads to transfer them here when--as of about 4:40 PDT--I could no longer get to SG at all. Browser just times out.

I had already completed the daily helping from "Bert Finds the Matchbox", "Bert Goes Way West" and "Bert Majors in Majorette", when suddenly SG became unaccessible. I do hope TT hasn't pulled another stunt. There's a lot of Bert's stuff to recover. I have all the pix on my laptop, but I'd rather not have to rewrite all that text.

"You probably couldn't remember all that anyway, could ya, kid?"

    No Officer, I don't think I could.

    "And that's a bad thing?"

Officer, how'd you like your text rendered in a really goofy font from now on?
    Bert sez...
    "Wanna sell more?
    MAKE IT 1/64!!!"

Copy/Paste is a wonderful thing. I don't have to log in to copy and paste. Sorry to hear but not unexpected, and why I put a rush on getting this place together.
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

    Thank you for your understanding.

      Hopefully just a passing aberration.

Bert... same here. That's why I have been posting one at a time all over again. Could they be keeping us from coping our old information out of spite.

I can still get in there but haven't tried to move anything - not that tech savy.

As it turns out, that appears to be the case. I was able to get into SG a couple hours later to finish up the day's harvest.

            So, we're good.

"Way to get everybody all worried, kid."

I don't think anybody was that worried, Officer.

Never attribute to malice what could be explained by incompetence. I doubt TT is even aware we are moving.

True. They are still passing the hat for donations to keep the site open...
