I have not used PB in quite some time.... took me a while to remember my log in details.

Let me try and see what happens...

I copied the IMG contents and then right click & paste here.

I did notice I had to do a right click several times before the paste option showed up.

I collect what I like, and I like what I collect.

Just to show everyone what I experienced... (maybe it's some glitch in the VB site that causes this?)

So, I've already copied the link from Photobucket, and I come back to the Garage and right click inside the text box where I plan to post my message. Sometimes this is what appears:

            sample15.jpg

If you get the wrong prompts, continue to try Right Click until you get this proper choice, then select Paste.

            sample16.jpg

            Good luck everyone!

have you tried clicking in the reply box, to place your cursor, and then doing a CTRL+V ?

Also, there is the Image option in the toolbar, the one that looks like a picture of mountains. It's a bit more fiddly, but you can control the image size etc

hmmmm there does appear to be a problem, on my end at least, for posting images using the url option

ok, if you get a Not Valid image file when using the post by url options, make sure this little box is unticked

If using a photo from one of the photo hosting sites, I've just been dropping (pasting) the code from Flickr or Photobucket directly into the message box. So far I haven't had any issues or problems with doing that (other than what I described above). Hopefully Pegers has his figured out by now.

I collect what I like, and I like what I collect.

I've been having good luck with IMGUR. They have a pretty simple process, just click on the blue "COPY" button next to the BBCode link and it automatically copies it, then you just paste that into the body of your message and your done...

Also keep in mind that Photobucket is a dying site - sometimes they have outages on their server. I think what was it last week or 2 weeks ago(?) the site was offline for like 3 days. Imgur is a better alternative but the layout can be confusing at times on how to create albums.
