  • 1990s BP Petrol/Gas Station Tuned

I got this one when it 1st came out , maybe 1995 or so ,
I had to buy it in the kit form and get all the different pieces over a couple of weeks ( 6 in all at more than 1 location )
My one is now showing a bit of wear & tear , some of the stickers are faded , missing a hose etc
It still has that toy look rather than an actual scale model however it still looks pretty good IMO and I reckon it could be weathered and detailed up pretty nice
I think it is probably one of the Biggest & Best Value 1/64 Petrol/Gas Stations around , You can display heaps of 1/64 cars & build around it

Anyway here it is with some Aoshimas etc on a saturday morning

Real nice BP Station, of course all your accessories around and staging give it the realistic look that is so great.

I remember one available here in the States at a close out store called Big Lots back in the early 2000ths I think it was, I had an early interest in BP then, but I was concerned the scale might have been larger than for 3 inch cars, so I didn't get it, ever since it was gone from the store I'd regretted not getting it, especially since my interest in BP stuff had grown. Not sure it was this station, but yours looks kind of familiar.

Awesome scene and incredibly busy petrol station! Like Douglas I kind of remember seeming something similar to that at a place like Big Lots but passed on it as well. What is it about hindsight? Your displays are always so impressive and enjoyable to look at! Now to join the others under the umbrella for some coffee.

              Thanks Guys
I have seen them on the bay still pretty cheap

I added some christmas lights ( small LEDs on a long wire ) for some evening shots
The garbage bins are pieces of lego , I also added some air conditioners to the shop ( Pic 3 )
Maybe in the future I will light it up properly and do the interior also
