Been a dry spell since any new additions here.
This Welly pull back wind up 69 Charger was
in a lot with other scattered rubble.

The seller had a buy it now of 35.00 shipped for all the cars.
Made an offer of 20.00 shipped for the one car and they accepted.

Its the first example of this variation I have yet seen,
perhaps even considered rare by some standard.

Here is another unicorn addition that I never knew existed until now.
Road Champs 1986 Ferrari Testarossa in red with black interior.
250TR had one similar although it did not have white stripes.

The casting itself is uncommon. Looking at our favorite auction site,
there is one example is currently listed. The color changers version
is mainly found among the variations and red interior is prevalent.
This car also has yellow tail lights which I have not yet seen on
any version, all others have been red.

The same seller also had a black version shown above. This was particularly
interesting to me because of the base modification. Ferrari Testarossa has been
etched out with what appears to be a hand tool. I already had one example of this
although now having two in my mind is confirmation that its a factory alteration.

Would bet this is the first Ideal Slam Shifters Racing Rig that you have seen.

Has some paint chips and the tips of the stacks are broken off though.

Been a long search, now happy adding two more castings to my Ideal Slam Shifters collection.
They are a much smaller scale than expected.

Those bikes are neat. How do they size up to let's say a Hot Wheels or Matchbox car? Would they pass for 1/64 scale?

I was more interested in comparing to a car (since I'm not familiar with the HW motorbikes).

Am wondering if worth tracking down to add to 1/64 dioramas.

Recently discovered Muscle Machines produced a radio control 1/64 scale 69 Charger.
The car did not come with the controller and the body is plastic.

The tires are rubber for better traction. It appears to have a charging port on the base.
The front wheels turn and there is even an adjustment for the steering alignment!

Have also seen it in red and wonder if more colors are available.
I will be posting additional pics in the database.

                      Cheers

I have a 57 Chevy RC Muscle Machines still boxed, I know they made two frequencies so they could be raced. I don't recall what all models were made, they were pricey compared to the regular models on the peg (to be expected, they are motorized and remote controlled). In hindsight I should have bit the bullet and bought all I saw.

Awesome to see the Slam Shifter bikes, I've had a casual eye out for those as well. Just as well you found them before I did!
The image file limits have been reset. We have over-limit warnings for the past 3 months and I've had to lower the image file limits. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I know I've mentioned many times before, but it is very important to downsize images - doesn't matter if they are hosted elsewhere or here. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The new limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

                        Thank you for your understanding.

Cool, I didnt know about the other MM RC models and wonder what the casings list consists of.

I bid 100 bucks for the pair of bikes and won for 68.00 ... Would you pay more ...

Mine is on a top shelf, if I can get at it *maybe* there is a model list on back.

I have for other things, sight unseen probably not. Now that I see them that story might change, but not near term.
