As some of you probably remember, there was a magnificent definitive website run by a woman in Japan that was devoted to Lone Star Impy. Unfortunately it has been defunct for a few years. I recall that the woman behind it told me she started collecting when she had a young son. It seems she said she was going to save these for her son. I hope there is some record of her work somewhere because with the number of IMPY / Flyers variations out there, it was a nice general guide. If only Lone Star and Mini-Dinky were as popular as Matchbox or Hot Wheels! Those moving parts and devotion to realism were the pinnacle of diecast design.
