I found this recently at a flea market. It's a #74 Daimler Bus with an interesting label on it which reads, "1973 Chairman's Council." I can't seem to find any info on this particular variation. It appears that these labels were placed over the original labels as you can see the edges of the originals underneath, so I'm thinking it wasn't produced by Lesney this way but rather modified by whoever was behind the Chairman's Council. Has anyone else ever seen these labels before?

I have not seen those particular labels before but I know there were many of the London Buses "converted" by collector's, organizations, groups, etc. with their own labels either over the existing labels or they took the time to remove the original ones.

Those older code 3 buses like this are neat to run across, makes you wonder how many each company or organization might have produced, I have one introducing or celebrating some new computer technology/ component of 1970, it is put away, but believe the product was the omni bus cable or something, it appears they must have removed the old labels on mine though rather than applying new labels over old.Doug
