      bugs in the teeth!

The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

      Thank you for your understanding.

              • I love this thread. But looking back through the past pages, it becomes apparent to me that HWs is always adding these garish and weird tampoes. If only they could drop the tampoes and add detailing like headlights, taillights and chrome trim. But 3 year olds are attracted to the gaudiness and the adult collectors have to detampo and customize. I would guess after all these years HWs has done their marketing research. The kids win! ...Maybe that's why I am attracted to their Premium line.

Hoss you hit the nail right on its head....Mattel knows that kids are the driving force behind their diecast brands.

That's the hook that justifies the added retail cost of the premium models. They don't cost that much more to make, but they know the addicted adults will pay 3, 4, 7, 10 bucks for pretty much the same toy. I bet Matty laughs all the way to the bank...

Sorry it is not mint, I'm just happy to have a playworn copy that still has nice tampos and the handlebars on the motorcycles in the bed. These ain't as common now as they used to be.

Don't often see the '56. '57 yes. '55 pretty darn often. '56 almost never.

                              Trivia time!

Without looking it up...where is the gasoline filler on the '56 Chebbie?
