Muscle Machines blasted onto the scene in late 2000, and immediately after the events of 9/11/2001 introduced a series of patriotic themed red/white/blue models, a theme copied by other makers in the months following. For Christmas of 2001, Muscle Machines offered some Christmas themed 5 packs, and while most of the models were repeated in each issue, some of the models were not...as I recall this Willys pickup was one of the less common Christmas issues that year.

I get that Muscle Machines tend to be "love them/hate them" among collectors today, but clearly they do have a following, if not quite as robust as in times past. Often imitated, seldom duplicated...which is cause for celebration for many, and equally cause for concern among those that appreciate automotive art in rolling form.
