  • '76 Trans Am in Cameo White

Kind of wish the interior were blue to match the hood bird, but no other complaints here.

I've seen several times a real version of this car and scheme, but it is a semi-beater. This almost made me cry when I looked it over.

I remember being able to pick up a really nice one in the early late 80's / early 90's for about $4,000 - wouldn't even get you a parts car today.

        Looks awesome!

I may go back to Walmart to get this one--it was there last time (the first time in months I've seen well-stocked pegs for ALL brands at once), but I went with the '87 Chevy pickup instead, as I think AW constantly knocks GL out of the park in terms of their pickups.

I think AW did one super sweet job on these T/A castings. I have several color variations, and even a white one, but the white with blue bird on the hood is pure awesome!!!

My older white one has a brown and red bird, but I really like the blue on yours much, much better...

I just found a green one I had totally forgotten about. I'm not even sure if I knew I had a green one. Boy~OH~Boy, this getting old in your old age stuff really "STINKS" to high heaven.

I noticed on mine (at the top of the thread), they kept the red and black "Firebird" logo on the B-Pillar even though the bird on the hood is blue - an unfortunate oversight I suppose!

Nice! Blue on white is perhaps my second-favorite color combo on Firebirds. I have the ‘75 from Auto World, here with the new Target Exclusive 2-pack model.

A few more blue-on-white birds from AW and JL (which I consider a fully merged entity at this point as far as my collection goes).

Great shots Lane! I was thinking of pairing the '75 and '76 - but you went the extra mile!

WOW... I didn't notice that John. The one posted right above looks to be blue, maybe they caught the oversite...

The one above it is the 1975 model released in 2017. The 1976 model from 2022 is likely to have the non-blue side bird on all available models.

Another look at my ‘75 issued 5 years ago.

The ‘75 has turn signals in the upper grille while the ‘76 has them in the lower grille in the bumper.

Could it be a 1976 MY thing? Seems like all of the AutoWorld ‘76 Firebirds (with the exception of the black/gold) have red side birds regardless of hood bird color while the ‘75 birds always match.

Lane, you inspired me to find a few more white and blue T/A's from the 2nd Gen box. Both are '71 models (Hot Wheels and Racing Champions)

Very nice! These fit the theme very well. Great castings.
