  • Look what I found today ... ​ for just  $5.00.

    While visiting a nearby antique mall today, I stumbled on a container truck like the one in this borrowed photo.
    OFAS lists this model as a Vintage 1980 Majorette Volvo Container RVI No.264 West Lines Truck.

    Although I am not actually a Majorette collector, I just couldn't resist the $5.00 price tag on a truck in very good condition, so I brought it home with me. ​Prices on OFAS range from about $9.00 to $20.00 plus shipping, so I think that I got a great deal. What do you Majorette experts think?

            I was thinking that too Bob, it looked like an old style deco probably from early in its life, since I didn't remember seeing it in the 90's, when I was collecting a good number of the then new Majorettes. Anyway, Congrats on your nice find, I'm sure I would have been excited to find that on the shelf too.

                  A pretty cool find Bob. I have a few of the Majorette trucks that won me over... A good friend and fellow collector that lives in Iran sent me these emergency vehicles several years back. I was pretty impressed with them and started trading him M2s, Hot Wheels, and Matchbox cars and trucks for the Majorettes. I have a small collection now.
                  Majorette has come a long way since I first seen the brand many, many moons ago...Here's what he sent me that got me into Majorette...
