  • 044-03 Nissan Fairlady 280Z-T Patrol Car

This Nissan Fairlady 280Z-T Patrol Car is on base No. 15, scale 1/61, MiJapan, year 1979. I have no box and don't know in which year and in which box the car was sold. But I think it is a newer car (remake ?).

According to base a * Nissan Fairlady 280Z-T * as year of manufacture is indicated 1979, scale 1/61, no. 15 and Mi Japan.
This model is now the original old version from late 70s / early 80s.
The variant above must be a newer model, obviously made much later than a complete remake, but both have the same casting AND the same bottom plate (!).
I can not find any differences in casting between the newer and this old model, even the * Mi Japan * is present in the new models.
But the old model still has the old police sticker and the interior is red.

According to Tomica Collection Book, this Nissan Fairlady 280Z-T Patrol Car is actually NO. 44-3

Red interior above is one of the first releases (missing the hood sticker)
The first pictured 280Z-T Patrol Car is "newer" and about the 14th variation of this model. Still a model from the 80's.

Yes, the S130 patrol car is boxed/released as no.44, no.15 was used by the civilian version with which the patrol car variant shares it's base.

Also from memory the patrol car with the tan interior was one of the models unique to the Osaka Castle Super Gift Set, and as such is quite rare and valuable compared to mainline releases.

You could be right about the beige interior patrol car being part of the Osaka Castle gift set. In the Tomica Collection book that version #14 has a "SG" listed in the column where it notes for one thing that I can tell, if it's a Gift Set model. "SG" very well could mean Super Gift set.

Wouldn't it be incredible to have that complete Osaka Castle Super Gift Set!!!
