  • Nickey Camaros

I found this pair a few days apart. I couldn't help but think of the line from the old movie This is Spinal Tap...."How much more black could it be...none, none more black"

I'm not a Camaro man but these are some pretty Camaros.
Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

They are well-done...I wonder how much Hot Wheels would charge for something of equivalent detail / quality? Even at the increased $5.47 price, I still feel these are a good value.

You know it's sad that everyone is talking about the V-8 coming to an end. I love the sound of one and Chevy you have to give them the credit they are super fast even though you need a Boat commander to pilot the thing. Don't you think they are acting a little quick on going electric? This town doesn't even have battery chargers and I'm not ready for that expensive price tag either.

I feel the same way - wondering how almost all the eggs are going in the electric basket. I can't imagine what the demand for electricity will do to its price when half the vehicles on the road are being charged. One thing my first girlfriend's dad told me in 1985 - he was an engineer at GM and told me , "John, the car companies never do anything because it's better, they do it because it's cheaper." The statement has stuck with me for 37 years. If you can eliminate all the components (and cost) of an engine and greatly simplify a transmission, imagine the profits they will be taking in - especially as batteries get cheaper to make. Having driven a few electric cars, they definitely are FAST, but it is not a pleasant driving experience to me at this point- emotionless is how I'd describe it.

A V-8 sounds waaaay better than a lesser motor. I say this all the time when we’re out and about: “If it’s not at least 8 cylinders, I don’t want to here it run.”
Electric cars aren’t cheaper, and the batteries will not be getting cheaper. The components are virtually 100% mined in or controlled by China. It’s being driven by the government and the push to go “green”.
