  • 1/64 Diecast Harley Davidsons from halmark

If you are after some high detail 1/64 motorcycles to add to your collection , put in a Diorama or just to hang on your christmas tree with those JL,s .
Then these bikes may be just what you where looking for , and the wheels turn too
After having 4 of them for the last 15 years , I finally decided it was time to get the rest

The Harley-Davidson miniature ornament series started in 1999 and continued through to 2012 ( Not to be confused with the larger scale ones )
There are 14 different Bikes in the Mini Series with color etc vatriations from the sets you get about 20 different bikes all up

The 14 below all came with eyelet hooks to hang them up , these are not too hard to remove
I used long nose pliers ,
Gently hold the bike with two fingers & with your other hand use the pliers moving from left to right and gently pulling upwards at the same time
It should come straight out , be careful with the handle bars & kickstand etc

    Mini # 1 .1999 Harley Davidson Electra Glide ( Black )
    Mini # 2 ,2000 Harley Davidson Duo Glide w Sidecar ( Red )
    Mini # 3, 2001 Harley Davidson 1947 Servi-Car ( Cream )

Here are some pics ( Ok a lot of pics ) of these
Decided on a little diiferent background scenery this time ,
We took the bikes to the old Air Force Base & got permission to take some pics

Probably just making a quick "pit stop", Officer.

Great lot of Harley's. Never seen them before. As Usual ... Not available in the UK & I guess would cost a fortune if ordered from the States or Australia.
It's hard to find any motorcycles in 1/64th ..or close to it. The old matchbox Honda racer with trailer is way to big (closer to 1/43). The matchbox Holden Ute carrying two trail bikes is about the best we could get. Also the Micro Machines motorcycles don't look too bad next to 2 to 3 inch cars.

                      Thanks ,

                      Motorcade ,
I know what you mean, The Matchbox bikes on the back of the holden ute where all I used until I got the micromachines
Now there is lots of HO bikes etc to choose from
There are 2 scales in the Micromachines .
The smaller closer to HO scale versions are more common & better detailed IMO than the larger closer to 1/64 versions

I used to have several of these also. I do not know what happen to them though. I was reviewing some old pics and reminded me of them and I looked and looked but have never found them.

Also found other bikes from playsets at dollar stores...

I have to say THANK YOU for making me aware of these motorcycles! Either that or I have to blame you for getting me started down another slippery slope.

I finally hit Ebay and rounded up at least one of each. Four shipments received and still waiting on another one or two to arrive.

All eye hooks will be surgically removed as soon as the surgeon has some free time on his hands.

I searched for the Around the World set, but have not bought it yet.... it's a doozy:
