    By sheer luck of chance

    I've been wanting this new Road Runner for quite some time now. I had no chance of getting out looking for it. While I was in the hospital, a dear friend found it in West Virginia. Her husband and I were best of friends for over 40 years and he recently passed from liver cancer. They both admired my collection a great deal and would send me a box of cool cars from time to time. Nancy found this Road Runner and bought it to send to me because she liked the pretty blue color. It's now on the way. She had no idea how bad I wanted this RR. I call that a real stroke of luck by sheer chance...LOL

    She's a beauty - I've found the pale green one- but not this blue. Nice find!

            I got them both by eBay then saw them at Walmart like poop really? Now I'm looking for the Dodge Darts and the new Shelby Mustangs no luck the question is how long is too long?
            Due to the recent budget cuts,
            the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
            current state of the economy, the light at the end
            of the tunnel has been turned off.

              That's a great story, Steve. Sure is nice to have friends like that and it hurts for sure your friend passed because of the same thing you had, dang.
