I 've been wanting to put together a pickup-bed utility trailer for a while. After finding a playworn no-name Chinesium wooden livestock trailer and stripping it, I added Greenlight wheels/axles out of a junker travel trailer that I will be converting to a fixed storage shed, and added a toolbox and spare tire from my parts bin, to make a trailer out of the bed left over from my C30 wrecker build.
This tows well behind lifted or stock height 4x4 trucks, not so much behind lowered ones. Someday I'll be 3D modeling/printing a proper truck bed trailer chassis with tool box and spare wheel mount, that accepts Mattel, M2 or GL wheels to make my excess pickup beds useful.

Very nice - see a lot of these truck bed trailers in these parts.

Great job! I seem to see a lot of these in my parts, basically the bed attached to two-thirds of a truck frame.

I need to build two based on a Chevy 3100. We have one made from the truck my Granddad learned to drive in. I hope to find some 1/18 a kid trashed so I can make a version that's close enough to 1/16; and a 1/64 version for my Ertl 1/64; again, using something a kid trashed. Unless I do a wrecker conversion on an RC 3100 and have a bed left over; as I know you did with the Chevy from which this bed came.

Same here. I have two not so far away neighbors who have these sort of trailers in their back yards, but of course never use them for anything
