    Corgi Showcase: Ford E-350 Ambulance

    Corgi Showcase was a series of emergency vehicles offered by Corgi Toys. Some were Lledo castings while others were made for the series. All are in the approximate 1/64th scale range of models. Two Ford E-350 Ambulances were offered in the range - a third one was announced as coming for Medic One/Seattle, WA but the series was dropped before it made it to production.

      Were the "Showcase" models like the "Fire Heroes" series? I don't remember these ambulances.

        very interesting- i don't have any of these, and don't remember ever seeing any either. i got all of the few corgi models i have from KB clearance over the years. i wonder how they'd stack up next to a code 3 e-350 ambo? on a related note, i just found a pre-merger Chicago ems e-350 code 3 on my xmas e-bay shopping spree...

          The ambulances are smaller then the ambulances from Code 3. I will try and get a comparison picture for you.

            interesting- i have some corgi fire heroes stuff- of course the scale is all over the place. a few play well with other 64... some are more like 87, and some are almost 1:50

                Nice ambulances, but I was noticing that it seemed strange the Phili one had no emergency lights facing the front.
