A do have a soft spot for the Chrysler-Simca 1308.
If fact my family owned a Chrysler-Simca 1307 back in the time and it served us for many travels for about ten years. It was first car that I have nice memorys from my childhood, it had a very remarkable grass-green colour you could not miss it at a big parking lot. It got a sad end: on a slippery road my mother hit a fence and the front side left was almost broken off - so expensive to repair 😭
This blue example is a childhood survivor, I beleive I got it as a teenie as an exchange from another boy. The model must have been from 1981/1982.
Three years ago I found at a flea market nearby the next example from 1983 that had lost a lot of his paint and some remains of the "Federation equestre française"-sticker.
So I decided to try to recreate our family car, however the colour is quite far away, to get closer I would have had to mix colours, not a task a have the right space and skills to do.
In my this year I found at another flea market another green example from 1983, I could not resit,..
