The C70 was produced from 2001-2003 in Doncaster, England. A Perkins 4.2 liter four cylinder diesel produced 73 engine hp with 50hp available at the drawbar. An independent rear pto was standard and it was offered in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations. Power steering and wet disc brakes were standard as was the ROPs ( Roll Over Protection System). No cab was offered. It was a fairly basic smaller utility tractor suited for the Euro market.
In 2002 Scale Models issued for the Louisville Farm Show as a special edition debut model. In 1/16 scale it features working steering, solid diecast hood and metal rims plus a working 3 point hitch. I scored this at an auction in the fall of 2019. It was new in the box, had the original certificate and appeared to not have been displayed. Like all Scale Models toys it's was made in Dyersville, Iowa.
