of the tunnel has been turned off. -
Classic color for '73 - one you don't see to often anymore. I really like the spoiler on this new series from AW- freshens this casting quite a bit to me. -
Not a fan of that color but know it was a popular choice in the day! Great looking Road Runner -

I absolutely "LOVE" the two colors issued this time. Especially that green one. It is a sweet, sweet looking Road Runner.
The pics are fabulous also, as always Daniel...
I have seen pictures of the light blue one with a black interior.
But a fellow collector (Rick Mouzon) posted this pic of it with the red one, the blue one has a matching blue interior I thought really looked awesome also...
Are they issued that way?

I was selling Plymouths in the 70's. This color was more popular on full-size MoPars than on "B" bodies. I never sold a Road Runner in the green and only one in Basin St Blue but by 1973, RR sales had dwindled to almost nothing. Here's my green car with the wheels "detailed". I was going to put some plastic people next to it but they took a long weekend. Happy Fourth Of July.
