I don't have many customs in my collection, just not something I generally gravitate to. I have a couple Stupid Squirrels customs, I have a custom hearse I forget where it came from, I have an old Matchbox Ford Police car I commissioned from an aspiring young artist in England done up as an Apocalyptic suicide bomb (affectionately named by the creator as "Walt's Last Ride"), I have a handful of personal attempts - the best I think being a rat rod makeover of a Hot Wheels 36 Ford (I don't remember if I used the redline or Neet Streeter casting) done in rust colored primer which made it really tough for the camera to focus. I also did a redline Maserati Mistral that I think turned out pretty nice.
And then I have this Corgi juniors Mercury Cougar which came in a lot from a seller while I was fishin' in the 'bay.
I like it. It is understated, believable, and all around tastefully done. I don't know who made it, but clearly someone had steady hands and a good eye for simple detail. My hat is off to this person, they did a very nice job.
