I rarely, ever find Majorettes in my neck of the woods, and honestly, to find them in that shape is luck. I guess they were either more widely available and/or more popular in Canada at that time. In my area, I remember Ames selling them in 1999/2000. Never bought a one--was mostly into bigger toys as a 3-4 year old.
What I like best about the loader is its metal bucket/arms. Most makers use soft plastic. I have a red one with a V snow-plow in place of the bucket.Leave a comment:

Thrift shop finds
There is a particular chain of Thrift stores here and they often have older Majorette diecast cars. Most of my Majorette collection is from this store.
Here are some older castings I found on Boxing Day. I am guessing they are from the early 80's.
No. 233 Mercedes Trax Publics missing the rear canopy.
N0. 219 Matra Simca Bagheera still with it's opening rear hatch.
No. 265 Tracto
I also found a Sonic Flashers NYPD EMS ambulance and a No. 264 Alpine A 310 police car. I posted pics of them in the Apparatus bay.Tags: None👍 2
