  • FORD V. FERRARI FILM

Just watched it for the second time last night. What a great movie. Christian Bale is fantastic. And the sound!

Our local cinema had a 43"x67" poster still on the wall after the movie ended it's run there. I asked about it, and yesterday they emailed me to come and get it. It's huge!

I'm glad I saw it in the theater, but I will definitely pick up a copy on dvd when it comes out to watch at home.
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

      Thank you for your understanding.

There is an excellent documentary on Netflix called The 24 Hour War. The new movie must have used it as it’s main resource. Some interesting details left out of the movie like Shelby’s Le Mans win with the Cobra Daytona. Fantastic Ferrari history too.

It’s a shame there is no diecast themed set from anyone. I could cherry pick castings from across all the brands. Cobras, Mustangs, GT40s, wagon’s, oh and Ferrari’s. Hot Wheels, Greenlight, Auto World, JL, M2 should unite and create a collectors wet dream. Tide raises all boats...

Finally got around to watching it last night. An excellent movie! Having read about the jilted Ford/Ferrari marriage and the resulting Ford GT40 project, that movie gave you a good idea of what went on behind the scenes leading up to LeMans that year.
