  • Hot Wheels Christmas Gifts

While I was lucky enough to get a number of diecast for Christmas, a few were things I already had, but here are a few HWs I hadn't even seen before, except the RV There Yet, which someone posted here before, and I wasn't sure I'd be getting, but since I did as a gift, it is neat to have.

First is a Toy Story premium I think, it's the Pizza Planet Toyota delivery truck from the movie, it's really cool.

I can't make out what the bumper sticker says, it may be gibberish, although I'm sure trying to get a close up through the blister might mess it up.

Then I also got this SpongeBob van, not that I'm a particular fan of the cartoon, but my friend knew I liked the Combat Medic.

And here is that RV There Yet, which you probably remember from another thread.

Those are cool Douglas - I actually saw that Plant Pizza truck in a Wal Mart someplace and am not sure why I didn't pick it up when I had the chance.

Thanks guys! Dan it is neat you got one of those pizza trucks too. I wasn't sure if it was a premium at first, but now I'm just noticing that it's a metal body and base model, plus has real riders, so must be premium, but even though I look through those on the pegs, I hadn't seen this one before.

My friend gave his son another from I guess the same series, but it is for the Punisher, or some show name like that, a really cool looking blue van with the sliding side door open and you can see inside.

I went and looked and found that the license tag, RES 1536, probably represents the original movies resolution (RES), it was rendered at 1536 x 922

The Pizza Truck is cool. I've seen the Punisher van from this batch, but it seemed the same as its first release except graphics/colors and card (of course), so I passed on it. Yet, I really like that interior detailing and isn't that roof gun awesome? Never read or saw any Punisher episodes so really don't know what it's all about, but I like unusual vehicles equipped with heavy artillery for some reason I can't quite reconcile with my generally peaceful nature. Next one I see on the pegs I'll probably bring home with me for the 'variation' status.

Yeah Blair, that interior detailing caught my attention as well, and the gun did look cool. I wondered about whether or not the sliding door opened and closed, as it was open in the blister, and thought it might be permanent that way, but would be neat if it operated.
