Glad MBX is finally starting to use the Star of Life again. If only an ambulance would get it--the Airbus H130 is slated to be released as a Medevac in the upcoming year's Skybusters with a big Star of Life on the fuselage. I think the only E-350 that had the Star of Life was the LIFE EMS promo, and the Renault still hasn't gotten it.
Looks great! With hte "V" in the Star of Life, I'm wondering if its implied that it is a veterinary unit? -
I think you are right Cody, it does say "MBX Ocean" above, and "Marine 1" beside it, and shows an image of a seal or something below it, so I would say it is an sea animal rescue of sorts.Originally posted by cody6268 View PostDougComment

If I reall, it was not just Matchbox, but all toy companies could not use the star of life over some licensing issue or some technicality but seems to have been resolved as we are seeing it in use again.Comment

I recall Mattel stating that at a time, but I also recall questioning the ambassador at the time about it as Lego, Tonka and several others where producing ambulance toys with the SOL at the same time and never really hearing a real definitive answer back. I haven't seen this latest version yet, but given the number of times that white Hummers have hung on the pegs for months, I am positive that it will show up in droves. There should also be an abundance of this Hummer release in future nine packs.Comment
