Since I haven't covered Playart in awhile now, this seems like a moment to showcase one of their unique offerings. Playart did create a small series of military models focused on WWII, primarily American and German vehicles (gotta have good guys and bad guys).

Jeeps and Tanks and Trucks are to be expected, but something like the Schwimmwagen was not mandatory and yet still appropriate to the theme. No other maker comes to mind that covered this vehicle, and considering the scale and era, Playart did a respectable job with the details.
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

    Thank you for your understanding.

Playart did a nice variety of military models, here is a picture that shows the American counterpart to the Schwimmwagen, This one is called Amphibian Jeep.

It's there in the middle of this photo showing a couple other Playart military models.

There were some neat military models from Playart. I had most all of them and do not recall selling the ones that I had but have yet to come across them either, so it is possible. Kind of like my JL Green Hornet Car that has been missing for ages. Somehow, I have the fear that in doing some cleaning a while back the box it and others were in somehow got overlooked and got tossed. Opps!

Nice one. I have the "Seep" and Kubel. Nowadays they would do a War on Terror or Ukraine War themed set instead of Third Reich vs. US

I found the Jeep early on in my collecting years, and later found a nice one.

Some bits can be fragile, but these are really well done pieces.

I have a recollection I found some 'soft-plastic' war vehicles in roughly 1/64 scale, and the set included a Schwimmwagen. I'll see if I can find any photos or even the actual toys (they were sold as toys, not scale models). (They're probably out in a tub in the garage...this could take some time....later today I'll try to take a look.)

I was wrong (at least so far): what I have is an Airfix HO-scale model of the DUKW, or "Duck":

I guess this is the USA version of a Schwimmwagen...I still have a memory of a set of army soldiers that includes some 'ground transport' vehicles, and the German army figures may have an amphibious vehicle.
