To me, the "SA Fire Service" livery with Battenburg is a little too modern (and Australian) of a livery for a 1950s American rig. With all the bush fires Down Under--I think the Superlift and/or Blaze Blitzer would be more fitting for the livery. The Seagrave needs a licensed North American livery. And maybe a NZ livery for the Mack CF--they used a ton of 'em in the '70s and '80s.
Cadillac is a beauty. Though cream, a dark green, black, or white would be better colors. My Granddad learned to drive in my great-Grandpa's 3100. It was green too, albeit a much darker shade. I'll have to buy at least two. One to leave as-is, the other to detampo.Comment

I like them all, but a bit of a shame to see that white plastic base on the Seagrave - it needs the chrome plating.
The Cadillac is a beauty; everything a Matchbox should be. Looking forward to the complete photo of the case!

It just keeps on staying great! I'm really digging this current trend with our favorite 'original' matchbox-size toy car company's traditions being advanced to the future. I'm gonna give Mattel a big "HAPPY NEW YEAR" and a bunch of hugs for keeping me a devoted fan! And making me spend more of my money on you (Matchbox, that is...)Comment
