  • Majorette Milestone

Over this past weekend I picked up a couple of new-to-me Majorette which meant that I reached a total of 800 different Majorette in my collection. When I say different there are paint, decal, window, wheel differences etc included + a handful of Novacar models.

There are also some custom re-paints too.

The search will continue for new models to add and better examples to replace those where the condition shows playroom battle scars!

I thought I would post up some examples over time to share (but not all 800...)

    First up...

Enjoying seeing the variations of these great castings,

Is that splatter paint Beetle custom, I know they used that splatter painting process on some castings like the Dodge pickup, but don't remember seeing it on the Beetle before.

            Thanks Doug.

This is an original, not a custom. You're right it's very similar to the process they used on the Dodge pick-ups.

Very cool. I wish I had paid more attention during French lessons at school so I could understand what was being said!
