  • 1937 Studebaker 2M Cab Forward Road Tractor

After seeing an idea in a Facebook group, I got the ides to convert the Maisto "COE Flatbed" casting into a replica of a 1937 Studebaker semitractor. This is my result.

That's my favorite of the Maisto haulers, but you did a nice job creating a semi-tractor.
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

    Thank you for your understanding.

Here is a lighter duty, sleeper cab version of the same cab in real life. This single axle design wouldn't be used on a heavy hauler like the one I built.

Thanks! I'm excited for the new B-model Macks from Maisto, and getting a feeling about GL or M2 doing an International Metro &/or Loadstar in scale in the future too. I love my oddball/classic trucks...

I have been looking, and looking for those new B-model wreckers since I saw them in October. They are still not available, anywhere despite being "New for 2019". Guessing next year?

Great job on converting that one over!

The original almost looks like it should have the old style "BP" labels in that color scheme, although I really like your conversion to a semi tractor, looks great with the work you've done.
