  • Toys~R~Us Exclusive Sets

    You used to get 4 M2 cars for 8 bucks at Toys~R~Us...
    They were Drivers series cars, but for 2 bucks per car it was a deal!!!

    There were two more sets later released for a total of 4 sets...

      Once you got the goofy Toys~R~Us Geffory Giraffe tampos off they made nice looking rides!!!
      I sold off the 57 Chevy with the TRU tampos still on it...

        Those are some nice sets - I don't ever recall seeing anything like this at TRU - but to be honest I might have gotten to a TRU store (Fargo) once or twice a year as it was five hours away - and it was not one of the stores that ever had that great a selection of diecast.

          I ran into that same thing when I spent about 6 months in West Virginia up in the mountains. The closest big city was a little over a 3 hour drive. People I was staying with talked about a TRU there like it was the biggest toy store in the whole state. I got my hopes and excitement way up for the drive and what I would find there. When we got there I quickly realized my house back in Ohio was bigger than that whole store...LOL
          It was a huge disappointment to me. Only diecast they carried was HWs and MBs and the selection of those was "SQUAT"...

                Here's the one I wanted buy missed.

                Keep hoping to find a deal on Ebay, or somewhere, one day.
