  • Maisto Fresh Metal 1955 Chevy Bel Air

I don't think this casting has been released in the Fresh Metal line. Since I collect '55 Chevy's I grabbed two!

There is also a red & white variation which I have yet to see.

EDIT: I dunno why there are "Attached pics"...I never did that. I don't know how to remove them either.

Have these been seen as singles? I have seen them as part of a nine pack and more recently in a five pack (or was it a three pack). I image the red and white one looks awesome!

Yep it's a single carded one which was awesome.

Here is an online photo of the red one.

Oh man that's cool. I really like some of those FM's.

I've yet to see this casting sold in singles. I grabbed a 20 pack for the orange/black Bel Air and few other good castings I couldn't find in single as well.

The first one I found was a single:

            I haven't seen it in multi-packs.

Thanks to you telling me at the old garage you found them at GT I was able to find two! On an interesting note it would appear on this casting that the roof, pillars and black tinted "glass" are all made of one piece of molded plastic. The body is metal while the base is black plastic with separate chrome front grill and bumpers. When I compare it side by side to my Hot Wheels '55 Bel Air the Maisto version is a little wider and longer . Comparing it next to one of my GL '55 Bel Air's it's almost identical in terms of width and length.
