  • RIP mattywhelz

mattywhelz aka Matthew L. Hicks passed away today. I know he was fighting cancer but things was looking up. So, it was a shock to see a post from his daughter from his Facebook account today letting us know he has passed. I don't believe he was a member here but I know he was quite the regular on Joe's Diecast Shack and Hobby Talk back in the day. We're losing too many good friends and collectors these days. It saddens my heart. My prayers go out to his family.

I'm sorry to hear. Not someone I knew or interacted with, but any loss to the hobby is sad. My thoughts go out to his family.
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

    Thank you for your understanding.

Matty, rest in peace and your home now and will not suffer anymore.
Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

So sorry to hear of his death. I know I "knew" him from the past and want to say he was a part of the MCCH board back in the day. My thoughts and prayers for his family.
