    If memory serves, the real car was the forerunner and ancestor of the much vaunted Shelby Cobra. Carroll Shelby began with AC bodies and chassis and mounted his own warmed over Ford engines.

    Yow Modellini is far better known for 1/43 scale, but they did a short run minor series celebrating the Mille Miglia, the Italian thousand mile race. Only 5 models were created in about 1/64 scale.
    The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

          That is one sweet ride and fantastic pictures.
          Due to the recent budget cuts,
          the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
          current state of the economy, the light at the end
          of the tunnel has been turned off.

            I have this one too and the Lotus. I wished I had them all. They're nicely made.

              I've featured the Bentley before; it is the model that grabbed my interest in this series:

              They are well made models for the scale, on par I think with Kyosho, Konami and High Speed. In my humble opinion the Alfa suffers a wee bit for the tampoed grill work, but the remaining models are worthy to sit in any collection of the mentioned makers or comparable.
