  • Info requested older carded Majorette

A friend of mine found these, he is wondering how old they are. He's not sure he's going to keep them. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Eric Click image for larger version

    Fantastic finds!

My guess would be these are from the early-to-mid 1970s. I’m sure better informed experts among us could narrow it down further for you.

    Again, really nice!

I concur. I'm not intimately familiar with Majorette, but these are certainly vintage, and I was prepared to guess early to mid 1970s as well

Please let me know if he decides to part with them.

The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

      Thank you for your understanding.

I don't recall seeing those cards before but going by the models my guess would be mid to late '70's I know when I lived in St. Paul, MN in the late '80's Majorette models such as the ones pictured were fairly easy to find in a number of stores.

I'd agree, mid 70s at the latest.

Very nice additions, Like others had mentioned, it seems early 70's is about right for these, I do have a number of sets in these type of packages, and here is the link to my thread here at the Garage, hopefully you'll find interesting.... 1970's Majorette 300 Series - Two Packs - Diecast Garage
