Wow. I've never seen that Tonka Daytona before. Here are some of my FWD Mopars to share... First, the one that started it all...

Click image for larger version Name:	photo-370.jpg Views:	0 Size:	17.3 KB ID:	40028

Yes, the SIMCA Horizon. Some of my European friends may argue the one that truly started it all was the SImca 1100 (which preceded the Horizon), but unfortunately I don't have any good pictures sitting in my 'bucket of my Majorette 1100.

The Simca Horizon was developed alongside the Plymouth Horizon and Dodge Omni...

...done very nicely by Motor Max in the Fresh Cherries line.

Unlike it's French doppelgänger, the Omni/Horizon also came with a 2-door platform mate, which changed names several times over it's lifespan. The Omni O24 was made my several companies, including Hot Wheels...

    ...and Playart...

Click image for larger version Name:	photo-82.jpg Views:	0 Size:	30.9 KB ID:	40031

There was also a Tootsietoy model, shown here in pink...

Click image for larger version Name:	ChargerGroup2.jpg Views:	0 Size:	53.7 KB ID:	40032

...along with the Ertl Shelby Charger. The 024 became the Charger, which was also offered in Charger 2.2 form by Zylmex.

We also have some drag racing versions of the Charger from Zylmex (though I suppose these are technically RWD).

Oh, and can't forget the Ute versions... a couple of Rampage models from Stomper and Hot Wheels.

Well, that covers the L bodies pretty well (though there are certainly many more variations out there.)

Plenty more K-cars and K-car variants (G and S body sports cars and minivans) left for others to add to the FWD Mopar fun!

One of my cousin's first car was a Omni 024. Not even sure she ever drove it. Her dad is a mega Mopar fan and likely picked it up for next to nothing. I don't even think the car had 30,000 original miles on it. It was beige with plaid interior. 4 speed manual. No power steering and no air conditioning.

Plaid is way more cool than air conditioning. 😁

The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

              Thank you for your understanding.

"FWD" means "Front-Wheel Drive". "Four-Wheel Drive" would be "4WD".

                      This one's a Ford:
