I'm not in love with this casting, but it just looked right in red.

I'm on the lookout for these (and the new Lincolns & 3000GTs, and Round 2-JL's new Monte, Ranger & RX7)

This is my favorite of AW's trucks so far

Looking good, John, and rather large isn't it.
Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

I wouldn't mind finding one of these mid '60's Suburban's - reminds me of one of the rigs one of our Boy Scouts parents had and used to ferry us to summer camp and other places.

I have the blue Lincoln but it's 200 miles away.

                Scale looks awesome. Nice model.
Avid Jeep Cherokee XJ Collector. My Collection (still adding). Cherokees I'm looking for :-)

I have all four....and I want another red one to make a 'custom' fire vehicle. The fire vehicle I'm imagining would not be the all-window version, but a panel van....for a "rescue truck" or similar.

While tis '66 Suburban is "to new" it makes me think of the old Rescue 8 TV program from the '50's - thinking they used a '50's era Suburban but my memory is a little cloudy on that one.
