picture question.

    picture question.

    i thought this problem would just go away.it started back about 4 days ago.

    when i post a picture after i hit the post button.all i get is a blank space were the pic should be.
    some times if i have two or more pictures in a post the first one shows and the others dont.
    i found that if i hit the edit button.the post opens up and after i hit the reset button the picture appears.
    also now when i hit the reset button i am asked if i want to leave the site.
    note:when i write in a post with a picture.the writing is there but the picture is not.

    any ideas?

      Image size. The site blocks images over a certain size and resizes others.

      I've been noticing that more and more lately, a lot of your images won't load for me, or I have to reload the page 3 or 4 times to get them all to load. I started moving some of your collector number posts to a dedicated thread in the database, and I've been manually resizing your images. I'm not sure what PB does to them, but they have been a bit of a pain in the neck, I have to go around my elbow to get to my tail in order to make it work, so I stopped after a few to tend to some other things I had going on.

          i have not changed my picture size since i first started posting pictures about 15 years ago..

          what size should i change them to?

                  Wes,thanks for your effort to fix the problem...it seems for now i am done with pictures.i went to photobucket and tried to follow their advise.but no luck/.
                  plus i am not going to change 5000 plus pics one at a time.

                          I wouldn't expect you to change all the old pics, but if you could maybe try going forward it would help a lot.

                          I'll do what I can with the others, too much good information hard to find to get buried. As time permits.
