Matchbox's recent "Working Parts" Buick Riviera would have been much better if the top convertible top boot were molded as a part of the interior instead of part of the body casting. Those things are never body color; the color of the interior is much more likely.
I'm often disappointed with M2's cars, with tampo'ed trim that isn't adequately tampo'ed, or maybe it doesn't line up from fender to door or door to quarter panel. Or doors and hoods that just don't line up, period. I like their Drivers series better than the regular line of theirs for just that reason - if the hood and doors don't open, they pretty much have to line up! Then there's their "Pounders" series. As with the HW "Tooned" cars I mentioned above, never bought one, never will. They just look clownish to me. At least the tampos on M2's cars with the big sponsorship decals on the doors/hoods/roofs are easily removed with a few minutes work with dry erase markers. Their black Chrysler 300 really looks great without the advertisements all over it!
I can't wait to get Greenlight's upcoming Greenbrier! Preferably in several different colors. Maybe they can change up the dies to produce Corvans and Rampside pickups, too - wouldn't that be great?
