Nice comparison! Shows how 'advanced' today's toolings and designs are compared to the 'olden days'. Another one I've had for 50 +/- years....and mine has about 60% of it's paint left. Funny how my 'civilian' cars (or "street cars") are all beat up, while the fire/police/ems core of my childhood collection are nearly flawless. My imaginary firemen apparently took really good care of their apparatus...as did the ambulance crews and the police dept staffs. But those slovenly townsfolk, well, they beat the living daylights out of their 'daily drivers'...
