This came in the mail today and I'd never seen one before. It's a little play worn, but looks to be a factory design. The base is an interesting tan as well. I wonder if there was a whole series of military vehicles this was a part of. I don't know much about Majorette on the overall, but growing up overseas, this was my "hot wheels" brand. It also has very different wheels than any other Majorette Cherokee I have, which makes it even more interesting :-) .

I have a slew of Majorette Dodge fire engines in military colors...each with a "number decal" on the doors (well, the "number 1" issue is in a two-pack with the boat and the "1" decal is included in the package but not applied at the factory). Missing the numbers 4 and 6 out of 7 (known) numbered models. (I have models bearing "2", "3", "5" and "7" decals). I presume the 'missing' numbers were produced and sold, but can't prove that (not that I've tried...).
(Oh, and of course, I have the "red" fire department issue...)

Outside of the old military models Majorette did many years ago, there were 2 different series in more recent years, well maybe 90's and 2000's anyway.
As far as I was aware the one for the US market was called Special Forces, they did a number of castings in different military camo, and solid colors of tan and olive, I used to find these at Target stores here in the US, seems like they usually came with two small scaled army soldiers in each package, but there was another series called Squad Forces, as I understand this series included special military vehicles that fired projectiles, and I heard these were not made available in the US, though it seems that the regular series models included in that series that didn't have the firing mechanisms, had been available here at some stores, though I don't know to what extent.
This Squad Forces series were painted in different colors/graphics than the Special Forces from what I've seen, and from the looks of your Cherokee that is a Squad Forces color and markings, as is the model pjedsel shows is obviously marked as Squad Forces, but I think you mainly find the Special Forces issues here in the US, I think I'd only ever found one or two of the other series over the years, and never seen one of the models with the firing mechanisms..
