    Two New 5-packs

    Not sure if anyone has shown all the models in both of these new 5-packs yet, but I just found them this morning at Wal Mart. I don't know if the Fairlane wagon will be a 5-pack exclusive or not, but its the first Fairlane of any color I have seen so I thought I better buy it. Here's the packs:

        Really like the MBX Highway 5 pack! Need that Cayman and Fairlane!

          I will need the highway pack for sure! As much as I like the Hudson in the countryside one, the rest of the models don't do anything for me.

            MBX Highway is a strong buy, but I'll pass on MBX Countryside. The Jeep is a nice color, but with a no-chrome base I don't see buying a whole 5-pack for it.

              I usually try to have three I like in each pack, and the Highway pack only has two, the Fairlane and since the other one is the fox body police, I think I'll get it anyway. Now the countryside set has three, so that's a good one, except that postal van I wanted sure looks like it might have gone to the plastic zone, but then it does have the old Car-Go theme, an old theme they haven't used in a long time, so that's neat.

                  A couple members have posted the two police cars and Ryan posted the Falcon wagon but nice to see what is in each five pack. The Countryside set for sure the Hudson and thinking I might add the two farm items to my farm toys - otherwise will put them in the toy box in my office . The Highway Set has the Mustang for Boone County which is 911diecast/Keith's department in Missouri so a must have - and the Fairlane wagon as well. Others might go to Katie's suitcase or show up in the sale forum.

                    If you buy the Countryside set and look to sell the Jeep... I'd be interested.

                      Both for me, even though the old LLV (a casting I've been buying since it came out and I was barely older than a toddler; my Dad is a letter carrier) is way too cheapened from my liking. Plastic body, metal chassis, and no interior? Is this a third casting variation?

                      The highlights are the police vehicles (SLO City Hudson, Boone County Mustang) and Fairline. All the other cars in the Highway pack look great, even though I personally think the Fiat 500X is ugly in real life as well as MBX. I have never seen the Jeep or Hudson as singles, and hope to find them in these packs.

                      I honestly think MBX needs a licensed tractor in the mainline. Don't think we've had any, since the CATs were typically used in their own line, and not the mainline. Maybe a Case or New Holland?

                        I just found both at WalMart yesterday. I don't think I've ever liked a 5 pack more than the MBX Highway set though. Perfect variety and execution.

                          Went to 2 WM's did not see these but found the Christmas 5-pack.

                              I found both sets at a Wal Mart yesterday - kind of strange as they will get the five packs in but seem to not do so well with the singles. Happy to add another Hudson police car to the fleet - noticed it is for an actual department - San Luis Obispo in CA and of course the Boone County, MO Mustang! Only other one I am keeping for sure is the Fairlane station wagon.
                              Lane1-75 - have set aside the Jeep for you.


                              Two new Hudson's in less than a month!
