After seeing a Lesney regular wheel Muir Hill Dumper made into a junkyard tow truck on FB, I had to have my own, with its fair share of weathering. The tray of playworn Lesneys at a local antique store gave up another member, a dump bed-less but mostly intact otherwise example, to the noble cause of custom diecast. I cut the rivet post off a Hot Wheels Tow Jam tow boom, spliced it with an M2 tow boom's light tower, and securely hot-glued the HW boom and M2 light tower into position, before carefully hand-weathering the truck. I now have a creepy looking, weird, awkward, truly junky looking tow truck to move vehicles around my junkyard diorama, and I'm happy with my work
