Being a Pennsylvanian, I was hoping it would be one of the Rabbits built in the Westmoreland, PA plant. No, the round headlights show this to be the German version. The model actually looks a shade too big when compared to the green big-cab Transporter behind it. I haven't heard: is there any word on a possible GTI version of this car in the future?

Cool to see GL branch out into a non-Bug or Bus route. The MB rollback is likely 1/72 or smaller and the VW still looks small!Comment

Been trying in vain to find a 1/1 in my parts that isn't a convertible. I think most of the Rabbits sold of the MKI-III variety in the States were convertibles.
