  • Small Blister Cards?

Is anyone finding Matchbox on small cards? I think they may have been available in Europe for a while. I am seeing them at Dollarama stores in my area now:

I can't say I've ever seen a short-carded MBX in an American store. . Both Kmart and Walmart, at one point, carried short-card HWs at the checkout.

Could be that these are overruns/extra stock from Europe.

I heard the latest (first 2020 batch A aka S) is being found in Europe/GB on short cards...here somewhere yesterday or early today...it all blends together ....

Don't think I've ever seen a Matchbox short card before...

Seeing the Chevy wagon with the canoe on top reminds me (bit off topic, sorry)...I've still NEVER seen another of the Fairlane wagon since I found ONE of them on card when it first came out. Is it that elusive to other collectors?

All Matchbox and Hot Wheels mainline releases we get here in Austria (Central Europe) are on short cards. They have been like that for as long as I can remember. Never seen a mainline on a long card here.

Here are some random MBX models on short cards.

I did find short cards on the pegs at Walmart here in the States a couple years ago, they were mixed in with long card issues, but there were many of them on the pegs, however they were a batch from the year prior, so pretty old. I guessed it may have been old European stock that they were dumping here in the US.
