I honestly don't get why there are THREE Load Lifters. I thought MBX was reducing generics? Load Lifter is a bad peg-clogger in my neck of the woods. Dollar General had several red ones. Reducing it to two (or even one since it sells so poorly) allow for two of one of the "one-per-case" models would have been great.
Except for Load Lifter and the orange Baja truck, I'm thinking one of everything in this case.

Thanks for posting!
They could have done with 3 fewer Load Lifters (a.k.a. "Pegwarmers") and maybe added more Bananas, Caprices or Mercedes to make this a 100% popular mix."Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted." - R. Pausch

Thank you for the photo! I would agree with the above comments about the Load Lifter - they are always the ones that are remaining from this case. Everything else sells really quickly (which is a good thing), but it's making it harder to find the last two models I want from this case (the Giulia and the Mercedes).

Hmmm....I thought I saw a photo elsewhere that showed more Caprices (the police car)....ah well, I only mentioned it in another thread here today....guess when I get back to that I'll have to mea culpa myself.
I mentioned in one of those posts that I found this entire mix as Power Grabs today (at a Fred Meyer store--Kroger for those in the midwest?). Still haven't seen a one of them on a peg...
Hope it's not overkill to show the ones I got here (since I showed them in another thread in this same Bay):
I left the Load Lifter, Colorado, Sand Shredder, Mini and Nissan. All nice, but 11 was enough for the first appearance for me.

Like Cody and most others, I don't get all the load lifters, and then just singles of the favorites, but I suppose if the corporate marketers are thinking about holiday sales they might be thinking moms will grab the construction models for junior, but who knows, I would think firetrucks and police cars would also be on parents mind.
On a good note, I do like that they included a number of the Falcons, as that was a hard one to find in its first issue.Doug

Maybe I'll find the 6-spoke on a blister/peg. I like PG boxes 'cause you can open and admire the model without 'destroying' the packaging...maybe light damage on an end flap. But carded models allow you to display and see the model without taking it out of the package. So, I get both. But then, if I see wheel variations on cards I will buy both.
